The UpTheDeise team have kept Mullanimal in good health over the last few weeks.  His strength has come back now but it was touch and go for a while.  Mullanimal has bonded with Wellboy and seems to think he is his Da Da, the team thinks he has reverted to a childhood state but feel it is only a temporary condition...

Mullanimal nursed back to health, with tenderness

As a treat he was taken to the semi-final between Mount Sion and Ballyduff on Sunday.  This therapy seemed to help Mullanimal as the photgraphic evidence depicts...

As part of the therapy, the team brought him to Lismore to take in the sights as they felt it would be theraputic...

Next they brought him to the beautiful park in Lismore town to run around for a while...

Mullanimal heard about the fact that Lismore won the tidy towns award this year and decided to be naughty once again (it is hard for him to be good you know).  The team realises this is all part of the recovery process and it is 100% natural.

Wellboy, gave out to him and said, "put that in the bin or you'll get no more red lead blaas for the rest of the day!"
Mullanimal found it difficult to understand why Wellboy wanted him to pick up his rubbish...

Wellboy insists that Mullanimal should keep the deise tidy and give good example to all the other little Mullanimal's out there...

Mullanimal agreed for the sake of the Deise and the kids.  As can be deduced from the evidence, Mullanimal is now recovering well physically and coming on in leaps and bounds mentally also.  In time it is hoped he will make a full recovery, however, the team hopes he can be tamed and thus used to Waterford's advantage in the coming seasons ahead.
