In July of this year (2005), 90+ Tall Ships set sail from the beautiful quay at Waterford as Waterford was been chosen as the first port of the 2005 Tall Ships Race. It was a magnificent sight and a once in a lifetime opportunity to see so many fantastic vessels in one place. The locals in Waterford were very excited about the event none more so than the members of the message boards on upthedeise.com.
